The best gift that can be given to an enemy

... forgiveness

The best gift that can be given to a mother

...to do something that can make her look at her son or daughter with pride

The best gift that can be given to a father

...to excel in the father's profession.

I don't remember where I had read this. But I feel that everyone should practise giving these gifts.
